Awake

is a ongoing project inspired by James Van Der Zee’s documentation of historically-black Harlem neighborhood during the 1920’s. Capturing the eternal fight for mental freedom this is a ceaseless project that expands and transforms with my journeys. This journalistic quest is an unbiased portrayal of communities across the United States.
